Abigale Hansen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Utah and is currently pursuing her Master's in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Sport Psychology from Boston University. With a background spanning various age groups, Abi currently works closely with NCAA DIII and NCAA DI athletes, emphasizing a holistic approach to enhance well-being and success across all aspects of life.

Before focusing on mental health, Abi distinguished herself on the United States Professional Ski Halfpipe team for over a decade. Her experience navigating the challenges of professional skiing—competing, training, and traveling—while pursuing her education fueled her passion for integrating mental health support into sports. Post-athletics, Abi gained experience in intensive in-patient hospital settings, providing crisis intervention and support.

Abi's strength lies in building rapport and fostering a safe, trusting environment where athletes can explore their strengths and strive for both athletic and personal success. Her person-centered approach emphasizes collaboration, empowering clients to take an active role in their growth and well-being. Abi's use of evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy assures tailored support for each individual.

As a former athlete, Abi maintains her love for outdoor recreational activities, including running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, wake surfing, biking, surfing, pickleball, and golfing. Indoors, she enjoys immersing herself in books and pursuing creative hobbies such as crocheting, drawing, and journaling.
