Mike Condon, Coach
Mike Condon is a second-year Master’s candidate at Boston University’s Wheelock School in Human Development, specializing in Sport Psychology and Mental Health counseling. He lives locally with his wife, two kids, and two dogs.

Mike is from Holliston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Belmont Hill School (’09) and Princeton University (’13) with a degree in Political Science/International relations. While enrolled at both institutions, Mike’s main passion was the game of ice hockey, specifically goaltending. He has practical experience in balancing high-pressure academic and athletic environments.
After graduating from Princeton, Mike enjoyed a seven-year professional hockey career playing for the Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Ottawa Senators, as well as representing Team USA in international competition. He appeared in 129 NHL games, retiring in 2019 due to injury.
Post-playing career, Mike coached for two years at the Division 1 level for the Northeastern University Men’s Ice Hockey team. In that time, the team won the Beanpot, earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, and goaltender Devon Levi won the nation’s best goaltender award for two straight seasons, later signing a contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
Mike’s mission in entering this field is to become the resource he wished he had. He enjoys helping individuals understand themselves better so that they can lead happier and more fulfilled lives that are in alignment with their aspirations. He believes that adversity spares nobody, and these challenges can be navigated better by having awareness, perspectives, and mental skills already in place. He believes that today’s youth are faced with issues that previous generations did not have to deal with, and is here to listen and help in any way that he can.
